Christian Peaks and Valleys
In the five years since I have been saved, my experience has been one of many peaks and valleys. You may notice that I have not made a post in about a month. That started because of a good thing. I was studying the Books of Paul and focused on The Word. But about two weeks in, I missed a day and I have still not made time each day to get back to my Bible.
This is a pattern for me. Generally it starts with something going wrong in the way I am living my life, either a sin or my priorities. Then I miss a few days of reading. Next thing you know, I even feel guilty about praying. I say to myself "I am not worthy to take my concerns to God". Which makes the valley deeper and harder to get out of.
I am spending this weekend with my in-laws which is always a blessing for me. They are a family strong in faith and love, so it is an encouragement to be around them even in a difficult time for us. So my post today is a prayer for myself to get back to the peak of my faith. I will get to my Bible tonight and tomorrow morning. And with any luck I will finish my study of Paul and post what I have learned.
Pray for me that the Holy Spirit will continue to convict my heart and I will be able to sustain and to get rid of the old man.
Sincerley,
Won Christian

I was looking for pictures of valleys on Google images and found this one. My son and I play guitars in a kind of stringed quartet at church, and Sunday night we are playing "Peace In the Valley" and I will be using this picture as a backdrop for the power point presentation. And it will remind me of the testimony you have put out there for all to see. Praise God and keep the faith!
